Why I Love Antipasto on the Weekends

There simply couldn't be a better way to get more done on the weekends or perhaps take a break from the same old, same old, routine. When I decide to have a snacking weekend, this is what I do to keep myself on track with my health goals. But, what I really love about it is not having to fire up the stove, oven, air fryer or microwave. It's not only delicious, it's a time-saver and everyone loves to snack.



Eating pretty like this is a crowd pleaser. It's so simply elegant, fun and healthy. Choose items from your local market that you and your family love. Include interesting cheeses, nuts, fruit, olives, meats, local honey and spreads for fun. Crackers and breads are allowed too. Put it all on a beautiful charcuterie board and garnish with edible flowers, fresh spinach leaves or herbs like fresh Rosemary, Thyme, etc. There is no wrong way to do it. And, anytime is a great time to do it. It's great for a party or just for one or two people.


Save time to do more things you want to do. Best of all, this takes about 15 minutes to throw together and the only clean up is wiping down the board and storing left-overs in containers for later.

Not only will you enjoy every morsel, you will not feel guilty for eating it.
