True Success: Wrapshell Alderson, Royal Diamond
I was born and raised in the Philippines. Growing up, I was conditioned that to be successful in life, I need to have a college degree. I grew up in a small village and we don’t have much option in life. I realized that the only way to get out of poverty is to pursue higher education.
Fresh from High school, I went to Physical Therapy University, yet 3 years into the program, I dropped because of financial difficulties. I applied to a State funded University and in 3 years, I received my degree, Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science. After graduation, I pursue my Masters in Business Administration. In 2004, I migrated to California.
Living in a foreign country, I soon realized how challenging it is to get a decent paying job. I decided to get into Nursing. 8 months before completion, I dropped because of health issues. I then ventured into another field- Real Estate. 5 years into selling real estate, I was introduced to Valentus Slimroast Italian Coffee. The lifestyle and stress associated in selling & buying real estate took a toll on my physical well-being. I was overweight and borderline diabetic. July 4, 2015, I had my first sip of the Slimroast Italian coffee. I was a whopping 130 lbs with my 5’1” frame, I was considered overweight.
October 2015, my weight clock in at 103 lbs and at the same time, I advanced to Emerald rank. Exactly 5 months in the business working part-time, I hit the Diamond rank.
I made the decision to put my Real Estate career on the side burner and focus all of my efforts into my Valentus business. April 2016, I flew back to the Philippines for the first time after 12 years living in America. I took the liberty to share the business opportunity in that country the first time. One month later, I reached Triple Diamond rank while still vacationing in the Philippines.
February 2017, I was blessed to enjoy the warm Bahamian sand. It was the company’s first Incentive trip- 7 days all expense at The Cove hotel. 2019 was by far the most traveled year in my Valentus career. February, we soaked in the Bahamas sand and sun for the Triple Diamond Incentive Trip.
I’m glad, I say YES to Valentus. I found home and this is where I am building my Legacy. I want to share this Bible verse for everyone to reflect.
Proverbs 13:22: “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.”
This verse keeps our life goals, our vision and our legacy front and center when we’re choosing how to use our money today. When we weigh what we want now against what we really want later, we realize how temporary satisfaction pales in comparison to a legacy of purpose and generational fulfillment. And an inheritance is not limited to money. It also includes godly character qualities like integrity and trustworthiness. Combining a financial inheritance with wisdom and godliness ensures that the next generation will also manage God’s blessings. God Speed and See you at the Top.
